Retards Write

Sometimes around here at the Review, we have to laugh. And we laugh and we talk about why we are laughing and then we giggle and then we laugh. We really do.

Philip Klein's latest "Reader Mail" is a 'letter' from a 'reader' in Port Arthur. Let's take a look:

"I hear Mark Domingue is getting a job from our new incoming county judge. As my husband who has been a dedicated police officer for 10 years to the citizens of Jefferson County? I don't think so Mr. Klein!

What stands out immediately to anyone beyond the third grade is the incomplete structure of the second sentence and in particular the phrase, "who has been" which describes a noun with no corresponding verb or object.

This is a common Kleinian trait.
