As we near the end of 2009, we here at the Review thought we'd take a look back at some of Philip's "stories" from the past year or so.
In December of last year, Philip predicted a scourge upon the Jefferson County courthouse prompted by an alleged illicit affair between Judge Layne Walker and his court reporter:
At the center of the case we have been told that there is a sitting Jefferson County District Judge, a court reporter and a now former probation officer that was terminated. According to sources both inside and outside the courthouse - there was seemingly a love triangle.
According to five sources that have demanded anonymity, the Review has learned that the judge and a court reporter were having an relationship. That relationship ended when the court reporter began seeing another employee at the courthouse. They eventually got married. According to the sources, when the relationship stopped - the reporter was removed from her post. But it did not stop there. According to the sources the reporters new boyfriend who was employed in the criminal justice system was forced to either resign or leave his position because of pressure by the judge.

As with most of Philip's libelous rants, the Federal Government is frothing at the mouth:
We have learned of the investigation and now we have learned that the Feds may be interested in "taking a look" at the case.
A few days later, Philip alleges that the triangle is now a square (or a rectangle as the case may be):
The Southeast Texas Political Review has learned that according to three independent sources this morning - the scandal that was reported by the Review this morning has grown ten fold in the last 24 hours.
The Review has received six tips this morning that it is now investigating. As well, the Review has learned that two law firms have been contacted by both the accused and the accuser and that a Lawsuit may be filed in the next week concerned the almost $10,000 that is being held in lue of payment to the former Court Reporter.
Further, two tipsters this morning tell the Review that : "This is not the first affair for any of the three in question.

But he didn't stop there. In Philip's "READER MAIL" a 'reader' writes:
From North Orange County :
I am sooooooooo loving the ************* sex scandal. it is definitely being talked about in legal circles here in Beaumont. That is one stupid sonofabitch for a judge. I guess only being able to get into ***************Law School tells you something. Keep up the good work and expose all these trashy bastards.
Funny how someone from Orange County would claim they are from Beaumont but then again, we all know where Philip gets his Reader Mail.
NOW....a year later. NO lawsuits have been filed, NO people have been fired, NOONE is being investigated by the FEDS. And as usual, nothing has been said by Philip again about the matter. And why????
