Ask Dr. Van Pelt

We here at the Review have been concerned lately with the apparent fixation Philip r. Klein, editor, has with Justice of the Peace, Tom Gillam.

"Philip talks about Judge Gillam quite a bit." Said a caller that didn't call the Review.

We thought we'd let our own psychological consultant, Dr. Lucy Van Pelt, take a long, 'hard' look at Philip and Judge Gillam.

Philip's obsession with Judge Gillam can be directly traced back to the lawsuit Judge Gillam filed against him several years ago when Philip blatantly libeled the Judge and was later forced to issue a retraction and pay him thirty five thousand dollars in damages and atttorney's fees. As is the case with most suffering from malignant narcissism, Philip never got over the disgrace suffered at the hands of Judge Gillam, or his attorney, Brent Coon. This is evidenced by the fabricated stories he has posted since this incident.

The Southeast Texas Political Review has learned early this afternoon that Justice of the Peace Pct. 8 Thomas Gillam is the focus of an investigation regarding an alleged assault against former candidate for Jefferson County Commissioner Court Mark Menard.

This allegation turned out to be an outright lie and illustrates Philip's unhealthy preoccupation with the Judge.

It is interesting to note that the latest allegations against Judge Gillam have been neutrally reported in the mainstream media while Philip's slant on them is far more fixated on the sexual nature of the situation.

"The Review has learned early this afternoon that Justice of the Peace Pct. 8 Thomas Gillam is the focus of an investigation involving allegations of having sex with a sixteen year old girl."

This constant preoccupation with Judge Gillam is consistent with several underlying psychosomatic disorders including the following:

Penis envy--Philip may be hiding some latent homosexual tendencies that are being relieved by his consistent libeling of Judge Gillam, a man Philip clearly admires but will never admit so.

Bestiality-- The numerous allegations regarding Judge Gillam indicate a strong potential that Philip desires some sort of sexual relationship with an animal or perhaps a large plant, like a ficus robusta or Howea fern.

Latent pedophilia-- What is most concerning about Philip's unfounded reports regarding Judge Gillam is the obscure references to sex with underage girls. Evaluating Philip's comments on the Rorshanche scale, there is a 57% chance that he is in fact envious of the allegations against Judge Gillam but only a 35% chance that he would in fact act on the impulse, choosing instead to engage in sexual activity with a large house plant, like a ficus robusta or a Howea fern.

In conclusion, I think it is important to watch Philip closely over the next few weeks, particularly if he shows any increased interest in schools, pet stores, or wholesale landscaping suppliers.
