Like Sands Through the Hour Glass......

Philip's latest self-penned contribution to his 'Reader Mail' is another pathetic attempt to weasel out of yet another lie he posted on the internet:

"As you know me and have met me many times please do not post my name or where I live in Texas because KFDM will figure it out. My comment is that I am just sick to my stomach over finding out the Larry took a bonus while walking into the newsroom crying while terminating employees and taking money. Yes; I know that it was not his decision to terminate and cut back payroll, however, it is important to understand that he could have said no to the money. I am so happy to be away from KFDM and the two face people that run it. Working in the media is hard enough without being lied to......."

Lets take a look at the structure of the email for a moment.

"As you know me and have met me many times please do not post my name or where I live in Texas because KFDM will figure it out.

While "as you know me" is technically a correct adverb clause, it is probably more appropriate to use the familiar form "since you know me". The formal version of the phrase is a common ploy by Philip when he "talks educated".

"As you know me, you know that I do not always agree with you."

What is the killer here is the idiotic logic behind the first sentence. Philip WILL POST YOUR NAME whether you ask him to or not. But lets continue.....

Yes; I know that it was not his decision to terminate and cut back payroll,

Ignoring the missing comma after 'Yes', Philip uses another of his marquee words...

You cannot bleed red and meet a payroll

two democrats that neither have ever met a payroll or been in business

They make payroll...

He likes that word. Lets go on...

I am so happy to be away from KFDM and the two face people that run it.

It's two face(d), Philip. Same mistake, different day.

...a dying community with corrupt two face politicians...
