Last week (I usually leave this stuff to Gus...), Philip Klein (who we don't like) reported that local unemployment was at 9.1% primarily based upon local government corruption. What Philip DIDN'T tell you (and he's quite good at that) is that the national unemployment average is 9.4%. Lets look at unemployment figures of some major cities:
Yuma, Arizona 20.3%
Modesto, California 16.8%
Elkhart, Indiana 17.8%
Stockton, California 15.6%
NEW YORK CITY is at 9% and DETROIT is at 22%.
Apparently, Jefferson County Corruption is having quite an effect across the country.
