Confused

This past week I got an email this week (note, this was taken word for word from Philip's Reader Mail....it doesn't make any sense does it?...well maybe to Philip) regarding the numbers at The SET Political Review and how 'they' come about them. I had to laugh because frankly I really do not care. It is pretty funny to think that some people really would even care enough to write an editorial about it. But here is the text of the email :

Sam, I read Philip R. Klein, editor's editorial 'Numbers' and I didn't understand. Shouldn't the hits from Statcounter and Microsoft Outlook be the same?

The short answer is............yes, the numbers should be the same. We asked Eagle's Nest mathematical consulatant, The Count to look at the data.

Philip's numbers are controlled by the user of the program, as is evidenced HERE.

We looked at two independent companies that monitor traffic to websites directly from the Internet Service Provider.

WEBSITE OUTLOOK has been tracking The SET Political Review for some time and shows that the traffic is up some since Philips 'memorable' (I almost died I laughed so hard) appearance on DATELINE. Their most recent data shows Philip's readership at about 149 per day, which is supported by his numbers from a year ago.

However, we doublechecked our figures through ALEXA, a web traffic monitor similar to Website Outlook. Unfortunately, They rank The Southeast Texas Political Review overall as the 9,130,889th (thats 9 MILLION) most popular website in their survey. In comparison, KFDM Channel Six had a rating of 84,151.

"I tink that der is but one concluzion" The Count said......Philip lize.

We posed the same question to Dr. Lucy Van Pelt.

"It is not uncommon for sufferers of malignant narcissism to manipulate their worlds to appear more popular or wanted. It goes to the very nature of their mental illness."

In short....nobody believes your crap Philip.
