In a move anticipated by all here at the Eagle's Nest, 'forces' behind the renowned Southeast Texas Political Review have named Alfred E. Newman as new idiotor of the weekly blog. "Wee dunt hev elot uf tim 2 spind on tha ritin enymur" said former idiotors The Philip Kleins.
Recently, the renowned idiotors have been racked with scandal. The apparent suicide of Lucy 23 combined with numerous lawsuits and allegations that the idiotors have been receiving 'shock therapy' from a psychotherapist in San Antonio have caused the credibility of the weekly blog to suffer.
"We needed a change" said Randy Jackson (gratuitious search engine advertisement) "and we think that Mr. Newman is just the guy to bring that about."
Alfred E. Newman was unavailable for comment but a spokesperson said that he looked forward to the challenge.
