Bits of Fiddle

Well......another week.....and another example of the base insensitivity that torments the soul of Philip Klein.
Over forty years ago, a man made a mistake....a mistake that would haunt him for the rest of his life. But instead of hiding out and going to work for some big company making lots of money, he chose instead to face that mistake and serve the public. A public that obviously forgave him and elected him to the U.S. Senate for decades. Now, he is dying...He will suffer headaches, seizures, nausea, vomiting, and will have difficulty seeing or hearing. He will undergo harsh cancer treatments that will leave his body wracked. He will suffer...
As human beings, we all should feel compassion for this man. Whether we liked him and what he stood for,...or hated him.......no matter............. in the twilight of his life, he will endure a painful death.
And all our compassionate 'friend' from Mid-county has to say is:
"how much of a loss is it? Really?"
Any time a human being suffers Philip, it is a loss. That is obviously something your bitter heart will never understand....
But enough of that:
"It is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove your are one"----from the Tenets of Murphy
"He's the sort of man who deprives you of your privacy without providing any company"---David Cook (gratuitous search engine advertisement)
"If brains were money, he'd be a charity case."--yours truly
Have a great weekend---will post Sunday (unless the lawsuit page pops up again-----which I seriously doubt!!!!)
