A local blogger and self described political consultant was honored this past week by the Southeast Texas Press Club at it's 2011 Press Club Awards dinner.
Philip r. Klein, Editor, (who we don't like) editor of the Southeast Texas Political Review was named Bull Shitter of the Year by a unanimous panel of anonymous judges. "We r vary prod ov thes ewerd." Klein told a packed house at Votreaux's Coon Ass Cuisine on Highway 105. "We hev weted e lung tim for u ti gib us a eward."
"I think Philip has always been full of shit. I think Philip will win this award every year now that they have instituted this category." Said an anonymous press club awards dinner attendee that did not speak to the Review.
Klein, clad in an extra large blue denim shirt and ill fitting jeans also won for Most Spelling Errors, Most Self Written Reader Mail, and a special award for Where Did You Get Those Fucked Up Looking Glasses.
