The STE Political Review has learned that The SET Political Review is reporting that anonymous sources telling both the STE and the SET Political Reviews (you really don't know how irritating this is....) that peanut butter manufacturers nationwide are slashing the price of peanut butter by 10 cents.
"We are concerned with our image." said A. G. Lafley, CEO of Procter and Gamble, manufacturers of JIF peanut butter. "If we lower the price, we think consumers will be more likely to purchase the product again, especially in these difficult times."
Philip r. Klein, editor of The Southeast Texas Political Review was quick to point out that the move was surely a result of corrupt public officials in Jefferson County, Texas. "Thes iz juzt enutter axmple uf currpten." Klein, a noted political consultant and nationally renowned finder of all things lost or stolen, maintains that a conspiracy exists between the manufacturers of peanut butter and county government.
Though dead, Nobel prize winning economist, Milton Friedman, deferred to Philip r. Klein's expertise in the matter. "I'm not sure how the reduction in the price of peanut butter across the nation shows corruption in a small county in Texas, but Philip is a 'politician' so he should know."
