Veteran Rockers Endorse Philip Klein

In a surprising move this week, veteran rock group, Jefferson Airplane, acknowledged that their 1967 hit single, 'White Rabbit' was not written about a Lewis Carroll inspired heroin trip but in fact was a prophetic reference to twenty-first century corruption in Jefferson County, Texas.

"It's been a secret all these years. It's time the people knew the truth." said singer Marty Balin.

Last week, Philip R. Klein's Southeast Texas Political Review revealed that the words to certain phrases in the song did, in fact, show corruption deep within county government.

"Logic is gone and proportion spending is our [sic] the window. And the white knights are talking backwards and the people will call for the politicos heads."

"I'm not sure how he figured it out." said Grace Slick, who wrote the song in 1965 after locking herself in a room during an extended heroin binge. "I was sitting there in this room near Haight Ashbury and just had this vision that Jefferson County Texas would have corrupt county government in forty years.....and the words just came to me."

Though dead, Spencer Dryden, drummer for the band, called Philip Klein a genius. "The guy is brilliant. To have discovered the true meaning of those lyrics after so many years requires a special mind."
