BREAKING NEWS!!!! Allman Brothers Denouce Philip Klein

In a surprising statement, The Allman Brothers Band has formerly requested that The Southeast Texas Political Review remove all mention of them from the website.

"We are very upset that Philip Klein has referred to us on his website." said Gregg Allman, founding member of the popular band. "We would actually prefer that he not even listen to our music." Allman went on to say.

The Allman Brothers, known for such hits as 'Ramblin Man' and 'Midnight Rider' recently were sited on The Southeast Texas Political Review as music that inspired suicidal thoughts.

"Our music comes from the soul" said former member Dickey Betts. "To infer that our songs were depressing and suicidal is a gross mistatement bordering on libel."

Attorneys for the band have sent formal requests to Philip Klein and The Southeast Texas Political Review to cease any reference to the band. "Additionally, we want Philip Klein to return all his Allman Brothers albums.....and any solo albums he may have with the exception of 'I'm No Angel' by Greg.....he can keep that one." said J. Noble Dagget, attorney for the band.

Philip Klein was unavailable for comment.

We here at the Eagle's Nest smell another lawsuit.

We shall see. And see we shall. And shall we see...and oh whatever.
