Bits of Tid

Eagles Note: The 'deposition excerpt' below is a piece based almost word for word from the now famous satirical advertisement that was the subject of the Falwell v. Hustler lawsuit. In that case, the Supreme Court of the United States said that satire, no matter how tasteless, was protected speech. I posted it for two reasons: First, to show that ANYTHING can be created or altered and placed on the internet. There are forums for civil disputes. They should stay there. I am sure that everyone now knows who that woman is since you made sure it was posted where she currently works.

The second reason stems from the overwhelming response I have had to the guestbook I installed this week. I debated on having one for some time but based upon the response, I have decided to keep it.

Philip Klein is a tasteless and senseless individual who, for years, has posted horrible things on the internet about people with a blatant disregard for the truth or, for the personal feelings of the subjects he "writes" (and I use that term loosely) about. He has insulted and defamed a dying Pope, dead student soccer players, and countless workers in both the public and private sector...the list is endless. He posted photographs of a woman's home, heavily damaged by the hurricane, with the implication that she was poor and lived in a shanty---simply because she didn't agree with his bizarre ideas.
He has an agenda...and that is revenge on a political and social system that once accepted him but later rejected him. He writes with venom about "west end wandas" and "politicos" not telling you that once....he was one of them. And because he no longer is a part of that crowd, he attacks them. This was one of the main reasons he was removed from the radio. This is ONE of the reasons he is such a bitter man. When writing about Philip Klein, I, like Philip, find nothing too tasteless.

But enough of that:

Its been a busy week. Lots to talk about:

"If only you'd use your brains a little more you could honestly call yourself a half-wit."---American Idol (gratuitous search engine advertisement)

"He thinks the world's against him. It's the only thing he and the world see eye to eye on."---John Trumble

"He's always talking about his inferiors, but no one has ever been able to find them."---Yours Truly

BIG STUFF coming next week. Lots of breaking news...as soon as I make it up.

Have a Great Weekend
