Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is an interpersonal, relational intervention used by trained psychotherapists to aid individuals in problems of living. This usually includes increasing individual sense of well-being, delusions of grandeur, referring to oneself in the plural, and reducing subjective discomforting experience. Psychotherapists employ a range of techniques based on experiential relationship building, dialogue, communication and behavior change and that are designed to improve the mental health and stability of a patient, or to improve group relationships (such as in a family). It is often most effective after the patient has experienced some traumatic event like the loss of a loved one or the demise of a marriage. Generally, in the latter, it can help the patient understand the importance of their lack of personal communication skills and accept that erectile dysfunction can be overcome through interpersonal communication.
